About Youth Town Hall




	Youth Town Hall brings noted and exceptional speakers to the youth of the Coachella Valley on a wide range of topics. In the past we have brought in such notable personalities as Astronaut Sally Ride, Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin, Bill Nye The Science Guy, Oceanographer Jean-Michel Cousteau, actor Edward James Olmos and a host of others. The events are sponsored by and underwritten by a number of generous sponsors who understand the value of expanded educational opportunities for students. The programs are coordinated by Desert Forum, Inc., which presents the Desert Town Hall - Indian Wells Lecture series. It is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to presenting educational lectures to the citizens of the Coachella Valley. They also coordinate the Youth Ambassador Program which invites 150 high school students from around the valley to attend each evening lecture program during the season.
